COLONEL PORTILLO
The Coronel Portillo province It is the most populated in the department of Ucayali and has as its capital Pucallpa, one of the main Amazonian cities in Peru.
FATHER ABBOT
Father Abbot, province of Ucayali, stands out for its biodiversity and its location between the high and low jungle. Here we promote social and environmental projects alongside local communities.
UCAYALI
Ucayali, Amazonian region of Peru and border with Brazil, is one of the territories where we carry out most of our interventions, supporting local communities in development and social strengthening processes.
WATCHTOWER
The Atalaya province It is located in the extreme south of the department of Ucayali, in the heart of Peru's Amazon region. It is a region of great cultural and environmental wealth, inhabited by a diverse indigenous peoples, who preserve their languages, traditions and ancestral ways of life.
PURUS
The Purús province belongs to the department of Ucayali, located on the eastern border of the Peru with Brazil. It is one of the most isolated areas of the country, surrounded by national reserves and territories of high biodiversity, and with access only by airway from the city of Pucallpa. Its capital, Puerto Esperanza, is the main connection point with the native communities settled along the Purús River.
PURÚS COMMUNAL RESERVE
The Purús Communal Reserve, in Ucayali, borders Brazil and complements the Alto Purús National Park. It is a co-management area with native communities and reinforces the natural barrier that prevents land access to Purús, protecting the Amazon and its peoples.
NATIVE COMMUNITIES
In this area there are various Amazonian indigenous communities.
Its main center is Puerto Esperanza, capital of the province of Purús, located on the border with Brazil and accessible only by airway. From here, the main social, educational, and environmental actions that strengthen the development and well-being of the region's communities are coordinated.
ALTO PURÚS NATIONAL PARK
He Alto Purús National Park, in Ucayali, is one of the largest natural areas in Peru. Its dense jungle acts as a natural barrier that prevents land access to Purús, so it is only possible to get there by airway.
