Heavy rains have been affecting native communities in the province of Purús, with the aim of protecting the health and well-being of indigenous families.

As part of this initiative, intercultural water kits were distributed, with materials adapted to the needs and context of native communities, helping to prevent diseases associated with the consumption of contaminated water during climate emergencies.

Native communities not only face emergencies: they prepare, organize and act to protect life, health and their Amazonian territories.
